July 26th, 2021 Odds: End of 2021 Universal Champion

Welcome to a new feature on BetWrestlingPodcast.com to get some content up on the site in between podcasts.

We are going to cover wrestling betting odds on a weekly basis – browsing around the sportsbooks, and covering the betting odds that are available.

Now admittedly this would be a lot better a few months ago – back when sportsbooks would do odds for the TV ratings each week, or cover announced matches. Hopefully they get back to that soon.

Despite a few basically announced matches, there isn’t any Summerslam betting odds at this time. I expect both Reigns & Lashley will be at least -500 though.

Let’s look and see what betting odds are available for the week of July 26th, 2021:

BetOnline

BetOnline currently have the one market, which is betting on who the next Universal Champion will be at the end of 2021.

Roman Reigns is favourite at -250. Now while he does seem to be a lock until at least Wrestlemania, WWE do like to freshen things up in the fall.

Last year saw The Fiend win it in August, and Reigns winning it a week later.

2019 saw title changes on August and October. 2018 we saw Reigns win it at Summerslam only to vacate it a couple of months later and Brock won it. In 2016, Finn won it and then had to vacate it.

So it might be worth looking at some of the other people and throwing a hail mary bet on them. The next in line are Big E at +250, John Cena at +500 and Seth Rollins at +500.

Edge is +750, then we go into the 4 digit odds with Owens +1400, and Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, Jey Uso, Karrion Kross and Shinsuke Nakamura all at +1600.

Finally we’ve got Apollo Crews at +2000, The Rock at +2000 and Sami Zayn at +4000.

SkyBet:

Sky Bet have the odds for the next WWE Champion after Bobby Lashley. If you wish to make that futures bet, Big E is the favourite at 7/4 followed by Goldberg at 9/2.

Next we’ve got Brock Lesnar 6/1, AJ Styles 8/1, Drew McIntyre 8/1, Riddle 9/1.

The odds go all the way up to 50/1 and include the likes of R-Truth and Mustafa Ali.

Sky Bet also have odds on Universal Champion after Roman Reigns. Big E is favourite at 5/2, followed by Seth Rollins 3/1, Finn Balor 4/1, John Cena 9/2 and The Rock at 6/1.

Finally they are offering Royal Rumble odds. Big E is the favourite for the Mens Royal Rumble at 6/1. Next is Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins at 10/1.

For the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble, Becky Lynch is the current favourite at 9/2 odds. Makes sense. We’ve then got Rhea Ripley at 7/1, Sasha Banks at 7/1, Ronda Rousey at 8/1, and then Charlotte Flair at 10/1 and Shayna Baszler at 10/1.
